Ed is an internationally renowned literary agent and is Chairman of literary agents Ed Victor Ltd.  Born in New York he has lived in London for the last 40 years.  He was educated at Dartmouth Collegee in America before doing an M.Litt degree at Cambridge University and then going into publishing.  He is the world’s most successful literary agent and has in his fold some of the best known and well-loved writers of modern times.   Since 1976 he has been championing writers of fiction and furthered the careers of many household names eg Frederick Forsyth, Jennifer Hart, Kathy Lette, AA Gill, Nigella Lawson and Andrew Marr to name but a few. He is on the Board of Trustees of the Hay Literary Festival and is a Patron of the Maggie’s Centre charity.
