Foundation supporter proves paralysis is no ‘obstacle’ to musical talent

A musician from Wiltshire, who has spent more than thirty years in a wheelchair following a motor cycle accident, is hoping that his latest CD will help raise awareness of what it’s like to live with paralysis.

Nick Allen’s three track CD, entitled ‘Obstacles’, gives a poignant insight into the anguish and heartache of coping with such a disability.

Thanks to the generous support of his friends within the industry (who have performed with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Hugh Cornwell, Siouxsie Sioux and Goldfrapp) Nick’s specially formed band ‘Littlemen’ have waived their fees with the result that 90% of all CD and internet sales will go to The Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation.

Said Nick “Obviously I have deep understanding and empathy for those who have suffered the same injuries and I am desperate to help find that, as yet, elusive remedy. If my music can go some way to do that, then I will have put my talents to good use”.

The CD is now on sale priced at £3.95 (incl. p&p). For more details about Nick and ‘Littlemen’ and to order your copy of ‘Obstacles’, click here
