Back for the fourth year running…come and join us for dinner and a round of golf.
The event begins on Sunday 1st August with an informal and relaxed Reception and Gala Dinner, cooked by chefs from Mandarin Oriental, London. Practice rounds of golf are available during the afternoon.
On Monday 2nd August, enjoy a full buffet breakfast, followed by 18 holes of golf with a celebrity. Full lunch is also provided.
Prices per team will be published shortly so ‘watch this space’ but be reassured that the Gala Dinner and golf on offer remain at the same high standards as in previous years and will therefore be worth every penny!.

Reflecting the current financial climate, we have taken the decision to reduce the price per team of three to £1,000, though the Gala Dinner and golf on offer remain to the same high standards as previous years.
Only £1,000 for a team of three people.

There are 3 routes of varying difficulties – 6, 10 or 16 kilometres.
Setting off from the Blacknest carpark, the start times are:
6km – 10.15am
10km – 10.00am
16km – 9.45am
We’re working on making it a fantastic day out for everyone — including face painting and photographic competitions for kids. We’re providing a barbeque lunch following the walk. And, for the botanists among you: the rhododendron garden is apparently at its absolute best in May!
For individuals, registration is £10; for families, it’s £20. This will cover our costs — every pound raised through sponsorship will go directly to the scientists we’re backing.

The General Manager of The Park Hotel in Netherton, Liverpool is kindly organising a fundraising dinner in aid of NSIF.
The evening will consist of a 3-course meal, with entertainment from the comedian Carl Schofield and live music from JT Kane, and an auction.
Tickets are £34.95, and £10 from every ticket will be donated to us.

Would anyone be interested in doing a London to Paris Triathlon in June…?
Start with a 1 km swim in London’s Hyde Park Serpentine followed by a 10 km run in Hyde Park on Friday morning. Competitors are then taken to Paris by Eurostar and the next day complete the 80 kilometre cycle stage. The event is concluded by a gala evening in the Euro Disney complex. The return to London is on Sunday.
Half distances can also be catered for!
